Easy Decadent Chocolate Mousse:
Step 1. Place chocolate chips in a small heat proof bowl
Step 2. Bring 1/2 cup heavy cream to a simmer in a small saucepan stirring continually. It is simmering when little bubbles start appearing around the edge of the pan.
Step 3. Pour hot cream over chocolate chips
Step 4. Let sit for 3 mins. Wisk until it becomes ganache, it won’t come together right away keep going!
Step 5. Place in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
Step 6. With an electric mixer beat a 1 cup of cream into the ganache until stiff peaks form. When you lift your beaters up out of the mousse it should stay up. (Be careful not to go past stiff peaks. If it does curdle, just add a tablespoon or 2 of cold cream)
