I think you will enjoy this movie even more if you get to know the quirky & endearing Postables before watching it. This is one of family’s favorite shows, so I definitely recommend checking out the rest of Signed Sealed Delivered!

Valentine's Day is approaching, and much of the activity in town seems to be centering on the White Sands Hotel. Hetty, having a case of writer's block on her latest romantic story, feels that she needs to observe people to make her story come to life. So, she makes Simon Tremayne, the manager of the hotel, a proposition: she will invest in the hotel in return for her being allowed to observe the hotel guests directly. He may regret this decision as Hetty's observation turns to interference. Gus asks Felicity to the Valentine’s dance, an invitation that she enthusiastically accepts. However, Arthur Pettibone has returned from veterinary school, he who also wants to take Felicity to the dance. Felicity loves the attention she is receiving and doesn't know who she would eventually like to court her. Meanwhile, Pierre Lapierre's beautiful but sheltered niece, Suzette Moreau, is visiting. But being sheltered, Suzette hopes to break loose while in Avonlea, specifically with Gus.
Lonely Hearts season 6 episode 2

Road to Avonlea is my absolute favorite historical series, perfect for long winter nights these 2 episodes are always a must watch around Valentine’s Day in our house. When you know the characters backstories it makes these episodes even better & I strongly encourage you to check the full series out!

This is a very touching family story, and the casting is absolutely perfect. Glenn Close and Christopher Walken do beautiful job at bringing this love story to life. These movies are heartfelt and full of rural scenery of the quiet, but rough life of Kansas in the early 1900s.
