Anne is very busy helping Marilla raise the twins (trying to keep Davey on the straight and narrow path and out of trouble), starting an Avonlea improvement society, making new friends, keeping up on her studies, and of course teaching. Anne still manages to get into scrapes even at her age, but they make this book worth the read.
