1. Pumpkin Cookies

Tips: For the frosting, I only use 2 cups heaping of powder sugar.

This past time I made some of the Pumpkin cookies with semisweet chocolate chips & chunks from ALDIs. They were so good! The cookies will need a longer time to bake if you try this variation.

2. Spice Cake

This has been my go-to spice cake for the past 5 years. It is so moist & tasty! This is the cake recipe I use every year for Grandpa’s birthday and it is a great addition to any fall party!

Tips: For a moist and airy cake I recommend either baking your cake in a rectangle pan (which is how I usually make it) or making sure to use 2 circle pans.

I have never made the cream cheese frosting because my Grandpa enjoys caramel frosting with his spice cake (which I usually make by cheating. By using a can of vanilla frosting and adding caramel extract to taste)

3. Cinnamon Apple Bread

This cinnamon apple bread is delicious, it is one of our favorites to make every fall. It makes the perfect fall breakfast, the top is my favorite part. It is the perfect combination of cinnamon and apples. This bread is always gone in one day in our house.

Tips: I add a portion of the cinnamon, sugar, & apple mixture into the batter it probably makes it more dense, but I love the flavor.

4. Gingerbread Cookies

These are the best gingerbread cookies I have ever made! These cookies are deliciously spicy and can be both soft or crisp depending on your preference. So many people are always asking me to make them some. We make them both in autumn & Christmas at our house.

Tips: I usually roll half the batch out thick, so my sister has the softer gingerbread cookies and rest I roll thinly because like a more a crisp gingerbread. If you want softer gingerbread make sure to not overbake them, the magic number for me is 10 mins.

Make sure you have enough ginger at your house, this recipe takes 2 Tablespoons and I know I have barely had enough a couple of times lol

My sister loves the gingerbread men with m&m buttons from the Cider Mill near our house, so I went on a mission a couple years ago to find a great recipe. These are the best gingerbread cookies I have ever made!

5. Best Easy Apple Crisp

This is the perfect easy autumn dish, that everyone will enjoy! Crisp Apple Oatmeal Crumble Topping with delicious cinnamon apples inside. Ideally served warm with a side of vanilla ice cream. It is the picture of a lovely fall evening🍎🍂

We have been making this recipe for years. People are always asking for our apple crisp recipe. Actually, on our recipe card at home my mom wrote Apple Crisp that people like at the top lol.
